Charlotte Bikkers is a tax lawyer admitted to the Netherlands Bar (advocaat). She studied tax law and corporate law at Leiden University and took the course in Income tax, trusts and estates at the University of Florida (where she passed ‘cum laude’ i.e. with distinction). She started her career at the Höcker Advocaten law firm in Amsterdam and then worked in the (tax-related) litigation practices of Spigt Litigators and the De Bont Advocaten law firm. She successfully completed the Postgraduate Course in Fiscal Law at Leiden University (which she again passed ‘cum laude’).
She believes that transparency is very important when it comes to working with others and building up relationships with clients. This is why she likes to work close to and closely with the client.
Charlotte has a broad experience with regard to (administrative) investigations and (information) requests by the Tax Authorities. As soon as she is involved with the investigation or request, she monitors the process, negotiates with the Tax Authorities and makes sure you get the best deal.
